Weekend Update: Sunday
Sunday started off with French toast, DVR catchups, and lazy blanket-clad lounging on the sofa followed by an afternoon with the roomies at the movies.
On tap: After a busy weekend a brainless romantic comedy was the perfect relaxing way to round out the break.
No Strings Attached. Absolutely loved it. The ending was predictable and totally corny but I would lie if I didn’t say my eyes...
Weekend Update: Saturday
After a 3:30am night on Friday, my Saturday morning wake up call at 7:30 came REALLY early.
First stop? 8:45 spring transfer orientation at the Junior League Washington. I am technically a fall transfer but fall orientation fell at the tail end of wedding season and the second event fell on a week day when I was out of town…long story short, I had no idea what was going on and threw my...

I’m the one who runs outside at the first sight of a flake to watch it fall. I adore watching the flakes get larger and larger. I hate when they melt on...
State of the Union: Legit DC-Style viewing.
What a difference a year makes. Last year I watched the State of the Union from my Living Room in Charlotte. This year? Viewing party with the ladies on the hill.
The pleasantly full venue: Top of the Hill on Pennsylvania Ave. I couldn’t have been more geeked out when, on our walk to the bar, we turned the corner to see Police barricades just before the majestic Capitol Building. I was...
